Okay, it's here my net buddies..
my all-time favorite anime.. "the Fushi Yūgi and it's three OVAs.."
[for those innocent people who doesn't know what OVA means.. it's "Original Video Animation".. ]
I first watched this anime, I think when I'm a third grader [ if I'm not mistaken..] in the channel GMA 7 at 5:00 pm..
Unfortunately, this anime was aired during our school days.. So what I have to do, is to rush from school to go home immediately. whew! .. I'll open the television as soon as I arrive home.. [ take note: I even skip assigned cleaner days.. you know, the "ASSIGNED cleaners" for each room each day :) ] ..
The thing I really liked about this anime is the exceptional romance between Tamahome and Miaka.. and sometimes.. the Funny lines..
So.. hey!, I'll introduce it first:
Fushigi Yūgi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuu Watase [wanna meet him!] ..
It tells the story of two ordinary teenager girls, Miaka and Yui, who are pulled into "The Universe of the Four Gods", a mysterious book they found in the library [ extraordinary things, isn't it? :) ]. Within the book, they find themselves in ancient China. Fulfilling ancient prophecies, the two are chosen to be the priestesses of Suzaku and Seiryū, respectively, two of four Guardian Gods worshiped in the book's world.
[okay.. for me, this is one of the saddest part..]
Once best friends, the girls become bitter enemies as Miaka strives to use the powers of Suzaku, God of the south, to make her dreams come true, but Yui, believing Miaka betrayed her, seeks to use the powers of Seiryū to get revenge. Along the way, the two girls are joined by their seven celestial warriors, and find themselves learning the true meaning of love, friendship, and sacrifice.
....This anime has three OVAs [ i love all of it..! ]
First OVA having three episodes, Second OVA having six and the final OVA [favorite among all!] : Fushigi Yūgi Eikoden, spanning four episodes..
okay.. that's all I can say for now.. :]
Now, as the time passed by.. I'm already watching this at ANIMAX.. Channel 47 for Sky Cable Subscribers..
